1 Insert a USB device into the USB port and/or a memory card into the card slot (notched corner to the
left). After loading a data carrier, it is selected as the playback medium and read in (indication "SCAN").
The playback of the first title will start automatically. The display will show the file name and the elapsed
time of the current title.
2 Shortly press the button [U/SD] on the device or the button [Mode] on the remote control to switch
between the data carriers.
3 Adjust the desired volume with the level control [LINE 1/MP3]. Additionally, you can use the buttons
[VOL+] and [VOL-] on the player (long actuation) [+] and [‒] on the remote control to adjust the basic
player volume.
4 To interrupt the playback, press the button [► ] (indication "PAUSE").
5 With the buttons [

6 For direct selection of a title with the numerical keys [0-9] on the remote control, enter its number.
Example: For title number 27 press keys [2] and [7].
7 With the buttons [FOL-] and [FOL+], you can select folder:

9 Press the button [EQ] on the remote control repeatedly to select an equalizer setting: „CLASSICAL"
„BASS" „LIVE" „ROCK" or „POP". When set to "NORMAL", the frequency response is not affected.
10 For muting the sound, press the button [

During the clock indication, the adjusting mode for the clock can be activated by long actuation of the
button [ ] (the hours are flashing). Use the buttons [

12 To remove a USB device, disconnect it from the USB port. To eject a memory card, slightly press it into
the slot until it comes out and can be removed. Prior to removing a device, always terminate the
playback with the button [►II]. Otherwise damage or loss of data may occur.

Protective circuits

The protective circuits prevent damage to the speakers and the amplifier. If activated, the speakers are
electrically separated from the amplifier and the LED [FAULT] lights up:
• for a few seconds after switching-on until the speaker outputs are ready for operation
• in case of a short-circuit at a speaker output
• in case of over current
If the red LED [FAULT] lights up during operation or if it does not go out after switching on, the amplifier has
to be switched off and the cause of the fault has to be removed.
