OPERATION
1. Before use
• Remove any packing material and loose parts from unit.
• Check the accessories before use. It should be fit with the machine and your
purpose.
2. Functions
a. Adjust the cutting depth (Fig. 1)

Always ensure that the saw is switched off and unplugged from the
power supply before making any adjustments.

NOTE: Always use the correct blade depth setting. The correct blade depth setting for
all cuts should not be more than a full tooth of the blade teeth below the material being
cut. Allowing more depth will increase the chance of kickback and result in a rough
cut.
b. Adjust the plunge cutting depth (Fig. 2)

Ensure that the saw is facing away
from you.
•
Loosen the depth locking lever. Hold
the base plate flat against the edge
of the work piece and lift the body
of the saw until the blade is at the
right depth. Use the depth scale to
determine the cutting depth.
•
Tighten the depth locking lever.
•
Before making a plunge cut, first
adjust the depth.
•
Push the plunge cutting depth lever
outwards and then adjust it to a
desired position.
•
Finally, push the lever inwards to
tighten it.
