Cleaning and user maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they are
supervised.
Keep children away from the door glass!
The glass door can become very hot dur-
ing operation and pose a risk of burning!

Risks when handling the
appliance
Fire hazard!
The cooking process has to be super-
vised. A short term cooking process has
to be supervised continouslyOnly ever op-
erate the oven with the oven door closed.
Do not cover cakes or roasts being cooked
in the oven with baking parchment. Do not
allow food, baking parchment and alumin-
ium foil to come into contact with the heat-
ing elements.
Do not place food to be grilled too far back
near the end of the heating element. It
is particularly hot there. Fatty foods can
catch fi re.
Do not store temperature-sensitive, com-
bustible or fl ammable objects in the oven!
If the appliance is switched on uninten-
tionally they may deform or ignite.
Only protective hob grilles or hob covers
made by the hob manufacturer, approved
protective hob grilles or covers which are
listed in the user manual, or pre-installed
protective hob grilles or hob covers may
be used. The use of unsuitable protective
hob grilles or hob covers may lead to ac-
cidents.
Risk of burns!
During its use, the device and its exposed
parts can become hot.
Caution should be exercised not to touch
the heating elements, walls, baking trays,
etc.
Safety
Children aged 8 years or younger must
be kept away from the device, unless they
are under constant supervision.
Hot steam can fl ow from the extraction
hood (ventilation) when the oven is in use.
Never pour water directly into the hot
oven. The steam can cause scalding and
damage the enamel.
Allow hot water from the oven to cool be-
fore pouring it out.
Never leave the oven unattended while
grilling. Keep children away!
The solid plates get very hot during op-
eration and will remain hot after they are
switched off .
Allow the solid plates and oven to cool
completely before cleaning.
Health hazard!
Do not defrost meat, poultry and fi sh in
the oven. Take the frozen food out of the
freezer ahead of time, cover and let it
defrost in the refrigerator. The fl uid from
the frozen food must be able to properly
drain, otherwise harmful microorganisms
can form.
Acrylamide may be carcinogenic. Acryla-
mide is produced when starch is exposed
to excessive heat, e.g. in potatoes (fries,
chips), biscuits, toast, bread etc.
Keep cooking times as short as possible.
Only brown the food slightly, do not allow
it to brown too much.
Cut larger-sized fries and then bake at
maximum of 180°C.
Brushing baked goods with egg whites or
egg yolks helps to reduce the formation of
acrylamide.
