8.3.1. Using the stabiliser
The image stabiliser compensates slight camera movements, such as shaking, and
prevents the picture from becoming blurred.
From the camera menu, select "STABILIZER" and activate or deactivate the
function here.
PLEASE NOTE!
When using a tripod, or if there is sufficient light, you will probably not need
to use the image stabiliser.
8.3.2. Using the flash
If there is insufficient light for the photo, the built-in flash can provide the additional
light required.
Press the flash button repeatedly to select the following flash settings:
Symbol
AUTO: The flash is activated automatically when the shooting conditions
require additional lighting.
Flash is triggered before the actual flash; used to prevent "red-eye" effect.
The camera detects the brightness and only flashes if necessary.
Flash always on
"Slow Sync": The flash is synchronised with slow shutter speed.
