Here you can select the language for the menu (see Page 140)
Here you can set the icon display on the LC display in recording
mode as well as in playback mode.
Select: ON, DETAILED INFO or OFF.
Using the TV settings function you can customise the video output
signal to match different regional settings. If the TV settings are
not set correctly, the image may not be displayed correctly on
your television.
The video output signal can be changed according to the locally
applicable standards: NTSC or PAL
Here you can set the display brightness.

NORMAL
Formats the memory card or the internal memory. This deletes all
the shots.
NOTE!
If you format the memory, all the data saved in it is
deleted.
Make sure that there is no important data left in the
memory or on the SD card.
Here you can reset all the individual settings to the factory
settings. In this case, answer the query with "YES".
The following settings are not reset:
• Date and time
• Language
• TV system
