Flash always off
The flash only works in single shot and self-timer mode. It cannot be used for photo
sequences and video recordings.
Using the flash increases battery usage. If the battery is almost flat, the flash requires a
longer time for charging.
CAUTION!
Do not use the flash when taking close-ups of people and
animals. Maintain a distance of at least one metre from your
subject.

8.3.3. Zooming in and out

The camera has an optical and a digital zoom. The optical zoom level is adjusted via the
lens settings; use the Settings menu to enable the digital zoom.
 Press the zoom control towards Y"

Y" : The image is zoomed out; you can capture a larger section
V" : The image is zoomed in; you can capture a smaller section.
