14. Connection to TV and PC

14.1. Displaying captures on a television set

You can play back the shots from your camera on a television set.
 Switch off the camera and television set.
 Connect the AV cable to the USB port on the side of the
camera.
 Switch the camera and television set on.
The camera switches automatically to playback mode.
 Connect the other end of the cable to an AV input socket
on your television set.
 If the television set does not detect the camera signal
automatically, switch to the appropriate video input on the
television set (usually by means of the CX button).

14.2. Printing shots on a photo printer

Using PictBridge, you can print your shots directly on a PictBridge-compatible photo
printer.
 Connect the printer to the camera with the USB cable
supplied.
 Switch the camera and the photo printer on.
The camera recognises that a USB device has been
connected and detects the printer automatically.
