Problem
Problem.
The heating is turning on and
off every couple of minutes,
the fan is on.
The heating is turning on and
off every couple of minutes,
the fan is not on.
After a longer period of
continuous operation the
heating turns on and off every
couple of minutes.
Small metal objects (e.g.
spoons) are being heated in
the induction zone.
1) Cooling system (fan) turns on if the heating temperature exceeds 55°C. At temperatures over 70°C
the regulator automatically lowers power output so that the unit remains in normal operating
condition.

Possible cause
The ambient temperature
is too high (the cooling
system cannot maintain the
hotplate in normal operating
conditions
.
1)
Problem with the hotplate.
The air inflow or outflow is
not fully functional.
Problem with the fan.
Problem with the fan control.
The coil is overheated, the
induction zone is too hot.
Empty pot.
Pot with overheated
contents.
Pot detection is not set
correctly.
Solution
Check whether the fan is not
sucking in hot air.
Lower the ambient temperature -
move the hotplate elsewhere.
Air temperature must be lower than
40 °C.
Disconnect the induction hotplate
from the electrical power supply
and contact a service centre.
Check that the required distance
from surrounding walls is adhered
to and whether the air inflow and
outflow openings are not covered.
Disconnect the induction hotplate
from the electrical power supply
and contact a service centre.
Turn off the induction hotplate,
remove the pot from the hotplate
and wait until the induction zone
cools down.
Disconnect the induction hotplate
from the electrical power supply
and contact a service centre.
