Troubleshooting chart

Before sending the device to customer service, use the following
table to check whether you can remedy the problem yourself .

Power adapter not
properly connected
No voltage from the
mains socket
ON/OFF switch (6)

Defective device
Too far away
Battery is flat
Device switched to
mute
Volume set too low
Remedy
Make sure the power
adapter is plugged into the
mains socket and con-
nected to the device .
Check the fuses .
Move the ON/OFF switch
(6) to the ON position .
Contact customer service .
Ensure that the remote
control is not too far away
from the device .
Replace the battery in
the remote control; pay
attention to correct polarity
when inserting the new
battery!
Press the MUTE button
(14) on the remote control
to cancel the mute setting .
Increase the
volume .
