Insert the battery into the remote control

NOTE
► The battery supplied was inserted into the remote control at the
factory .
► Remove the plastic film from the battery compartment before
using for the first time.
To insert a new battery, proceed as follows:
‹ Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control .
‹ Remove the used battery and replace with a CR2025 lithium cell .
Make sure that the battery is inserted according to polarity (the
positive end pointing to the back of the remote control) .
‹ Push the battery compartment back into the remote control .
NOTE
► Change the battery if the range of the remote control decreases
or if the device no longer reacts to all commands .

Switching the device ON and OFF

Switching on

After connecting to the mains supply, switch on the device using the
ON/OFF switch (6) on the back of the device (ON) .

Switching off

Move the ON/OFF switch (6) on the back of the device to the OFF
position .
NOTE
► Pressing the Standby button (1) on the remote control switches
the device to standby mode .
► Pull the mains adapter out of the mains socket so that no elec-
tricity is consumed .
