If the recorder does not respond despite exact
alignment and sufficient proximity, the battery may be
exhausted.
To change the battery, press the clip of the battery
holder to the right and pull out the holder at the same
time (fig. 6). Place the battery (3 V button cell, type
CR2025) with the positive pole upwards into the sup-
port and put the support back again.

Do not put exhausted batteries into the
household rubbish but take them to a special
waste disposal (e. g. collective container at
your retailer).

5.8 Key lock

A key lock may be activated against accidental opera-
tion. To switch on the key lock, set the switch Keylock
(13) to position "On". LOCK is inserted in the display
and the buttons of the recorder and of the infrared
remote control are locked for the operation. However,
it is still possible to release the function "Capture" via
the remote release.
To switch off the key lock, set the switch to position
"Off" again.

6 Fixing of the Recorder

By means of the supplied clamp the recorder can be
worn e. g. at a belt.
For fixing, tightly screw the clamp with the supplied
screws on the rear side of the recorder to the spot
marked with the corresponding label. Never use long-
er screws than those supplied, as otherwise the inside
of the recorder could be damaged!
