- The PowerPack is supplied partially charged.
- Fully charge the PowerPack before using it for the first time (see section

"Charging the PowerPack").

- For charging, use the mains charger.
- If not in use for a longer period, the battery of the PowerPack will discharge by
itself.
- To avoid destruction of the battery by excessive discharging, the battery must
be recharged every 3 months when not in use.
- The battery of the PowerPack is maintenance-free.
The PowerPack can be charged by means of the 230V mains charger or the 12 V
charging cord. Please observe that the charging of the PowerPack via the 12 V mains
charger may not take place during drive due to safety reasons.
The charging time is about 24-48 hours with the 230 V mains charger.
Caution! Do not leave the mains charger permanently plugged in as this will
overcharge the battery or may damage it.
Charging with the 230 V mains charger
- Connect the cable of the mains charger to the charging socket (under the bush of the
inverter, see
- Plug the mains charger into a 230 V – 50 Hz mains socket.
- The "recharge" control lamp lights up yellow suring charging (see
battery has been fully charged, then the control switches over to green.
Caution! Observe that the green lighting-up of the control is only an optical
signal. The charging process is also not finished automatically with green
control but only when the mains charger has been disconnected.
Charging with the 12 V charging cord
Fully discharged PowerPack should not be charged via the 12 V charging cord.
- Charge the PowerPack only when the engine is running, but not when driving.
- First of all insert the charging cord into the 12-V output of the PowerPack
(see A 1)
