Important notes
Risk of fi re if assembled incorrectly.
Please read these assembly instruction
carefully though and retain it for further refe-
rence. Take special note of the advised safety
gaps and the following notes.
• The infrared radiator is designed for 230 V
50 Hz voltage.
• Assembly and connection to the timer unit
must be carried out in accordance with the
connection diagram.
• Before the radiator is switched on, check
that all connections are secured and tighte-
ned properly with no risk of getting loose.
• The EU 60335-2-53 (VDE 0700 Part 53)
regulations shall be complied with.
• Notice that the main energy discharge in
the unit occurs through the infrared radia-
tion.
• Take care to ensure that the IR radiator is
not exposed to any mechanical stresses
(hits, tension, pressure). Risk of damage.
• Although breakage is unlikely when the ra-
diator is used properly, if it is nevertheless
broken or damaged, don't use it anymore.
Replace it with a new one.
Caution: fi re risk in the case of a
broken radiator.
Never look directly at the IR radi-
ator for a longer time, as it may
cause risk of eye damage. Always
wear a special eye protection goggles.
In the case of any skin disease or illness,
make sure to consult a doctor before
use.
This unit is not a medical device designed
for medical purposes in the sense of the
German Medical Products Law (MPG).
This unit shall not be used for medical
purposes.

This device has not been designed
for being used by persons (including
children) that are physically or mental-
ly handicapped or have sensory disabi-
lities. Furthermore, it is not allowed to
use this device without suffi cient expe-
rience and/or knowledge, unless these
persons will be supervised by persons
responsible for their security or in case
they have been instructed how to use
this device.
• Children are not aware of the dan-
gers which may occur when operating
electrical appliances. Children must
therefore never be allowed to operate
electrical appliances without adult su-
pervision.
• Do not use the appliance in bath rooms,
rooms with high humidity or near swim-
ming pools.
• The tanning system must be installed
in a dry room and kept free of exposure
to spray or drop moisture.
• When installing the IR radiation system,
please ensure that the ceiling has suf-
fi cient load-bearing capacity (min. 70
kg). If the capacity is lower, the ceiling
has to be reinforced and the installer
must furnish appropriate documentati-
on.
• Relative air humidity of max. 70% as
well as room temperature from 15 °C to
28°C shall be observed.
• Do not switch on the unit in any area
which may contain explosive vapours.
Repairs to the IR radiator may be carried
out only by a qualifi ed electrician or by plant
customer service personnel.
Always disconnect the system from
the power source when performing
works on the system (servicing or
cleaning operations).
