Precautions
Warning! Excessively greasy filters
represent the fire hazard! Fry below the
hood with the utmost caution!
Clean regularly! The metal filter should
be cleaned at least every two weeks.
The activated carbon filter must be re-
generated every 2-3 months. The re-
generation must be done in a normal
furnace at a temperature of 200 ° C, for
about 1-2 hours, depending on the
quantity of residues and the filter usage
time.
Warning! The auto-ignition threshold is
around 300-350 ° C!
Warning! Never use the oven pyrolysis
function! Never use temperatures
above 200 ° C! Danger of fire! Do not
cook on the flame under the hood! The
activated carbon filters must be re-
placed after 3-4 years of use.

Description of the filter functions
The activated carbon filters GUTMANN
are characterized by high regenerability
in traditional ovens and by durability. It
is also worth mentioning that their effi-
cacy 12 times superior to that of tradi-
tional carbon filters, and their noise is
minimum compared to other filters,
thanks to the honeycomb lamellar
structure. The absorbency capacity of
the GUTMANN activated carbon filters
is also due to a surface larger than the
other filters.
Regeneration
Regeneration takes place in a pre-
heated oven (200 ° C) and it lasts for 1-
2 hours depending on the level of dirt
accumulated on the filter.
Caution: Danger of fire!
Remove the filter from the oven only
after complete cooling.
This process can cause unpleasant
odors in the oven!
Caution:
- Do not regenerate the filter in the mi-
crowave oven!
- Never use the oven pyrolysis function
to regenerate the filter.
- Before regenerating the activated car-
bon filter, wash it with a damp cloth.
The need to regenerate the activated
carbon filter depends on the fre-
quency of cooking! However, you
should perform it at least every 2-3
months. Washing the activated carbon
filter with a damp cloth every 1-2
months is also recommended. The
high absorption capacity of the Gut-
mann carbon filter is best ensured
when the aspiration mode 2 is se-
lected.
