– Always ensure that your STEAMPOWER PRO ECO from SOLIS is switched off,
unplugged and completely cooled down, before cleaning or maintaining it.
– For cleaning the outside of the appliance, use a damp, soft cloth. Do not use
aggressive or abbrasive cleaning agents or scourers, since these can damage the
plastic surfaces of the appliance.

– The boiler should be emptied and cleaned every 2 months or after 10 to 20 uses,
depending on the lime content of the water.
– The appliance must be switched off, disconnected from power and completely
cooled (this takes about 2 hours).
– Carefully empty the tank, so that no water escapes during the subsequent
procedures. To do this, place the iron beside the steam iron station and up-
turn the station over a bucket or basin, so the water can flow out. Ensure
that no water flows over the appliance or the power cord.

– Once finished, fill the boiler with 100 ml of cold, clean water and screw the boiler
ö
cap shut again, using the allen key
cap and the cap is correctly screwed shut.
– Before operating the appliance again, the water tank must be refilled and
the lid must be closed. For further details, check the "Appliance Setup"
section.
– Now switch the appliance on and wait until the appliance has reached the opti-
mal operating temperature. For each first time using the appliance again, water
droplets can come out because of the imperfect heat stabilisation. Therefore, you
should check whether the steam comes out cleanly before ironing your clothes.
To do this, direct the steam jet down towards a sink or into a cotton cloth and
press the steam button. If the steam comes out cleanly, you can begin ironing
your clothes.

of cold water (Fig. 8).
CAUTION:
pour it slowly into the boiler – it must not pour anywhere
else, so that the appliance does not get damaged.
– Swirl the water in the boiler and then empty it into a basin or
bucket.
– Repeat this process until the water runs clean from the boiler.
