You can use normal tap water, however your boiler – depending on the lime
content – may become calcified more or less quickly. We therefore recommend
that you add the natural, purely organic and non-toxic descaling agent, KalStop
FP2003 from SOLIS. Into 5 litres of water, first mix one ampoule of KalStop
FP2003 and from this mixture, pour 1.2 litres into the water tank. This increases
the lifetime of your appliance, saves energy and gives a dry steam, for better
results.
Alternatively, a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% demineralised water (from
a water softener) can be used.
Do not use distilled or perfumed water under any circumstances.

NOTE:
The noise that can be heard when switching on and running the appli-
ance is caused by the refill-water-system of your steam iron station.

– Place your steam ironing station on a stable, heatproof and
water resistant surface, not far from a power socket.
– Lift off the lid of the water tank
proximately 1.2 litres of water. Make sure that the water does
not overflow (Fig. 1). Close the lid.
– Pull the power cord out from the cord winder until you can plug
it into the socket (Fig. 2).
– Press the ON / OFF switch
light ON Ⓐ and the temperature indicator light
– Set the temperature control dial
(Fig. 3). In order to save time when ironing, we recommend
using the SYNT SILK DRY setting for the most sensible materials
and then selecting a higher temperature setting (WOOL, ECO,
COTTON or LINEN) for heavier, less sensible materials, such as
cotton or linen.
Please always check the recommended ironing settings
on the label of each item of clothing, before ironing.
