Please read through this user manual thoroughly before us-
ing your SOLIS steam iron station STEAMPOWER PRO ECO,
so that you become familiar with your appliance and can use
it safely. We thoroughly recommend that you keep these
instructions and, if you pass the appliance on, that you also
hand these instructions to the new owner.
For your own safety, please observe the following safety
measures when using elec trical appliances:
1. In order to avoid electric shock, neither the boiler, iron, steam
hose, power cord nor the power plug may come into contact
with water, rain or other fluids. The water could seep into
the appliance and damage it. If the appliance, power cord or
plug come into contact with water, pull the plug out from the
socket, using dry rubber gloves.
2. Before using the appliance, check that the voltage stated on
the appliance matches your mains voltage. The appliance is to
be connected to a socket-outlet having an earthing contact.
3. The steam iron station should be placed on a stable, heat and
water resistant base. Additionally, the ironing base should be
steam-permeable.
4. Lay the power cord where it will not be tripped over by some-
one or where it will not cause the appliance to topple over.
Ensure that the cable does not come into contact with any hot
surfaces, such as the appliance itself. Always unwind the steam
hose completely before plugging the power plug in the socket.
5. Keep the appliance away from hot gas, hot ovens or other
heat sources. Do not use the appliance in rooms containing
flammable or explosive fluids or gasses.
6. Never use the appliance on a hot or wet surface. Do not place
the appliance near moisture, heat and open flames. If the plug
is plugged into the socket, do not touch the appliance with
wet hands or feet. Never touch the appliance with bare feet.
