Setting: SYNT SILK DRY
These fabrics should be ironed without steam, as the temperature and pres-
sure of the iron already ensures best results. Turn the temperature control
dial to the position SYNT SILK DRY.
– While dry ironing, only the iron heats up. Therfore you only have to wait
until the temperature indicator light of the iron
– If you wish to iron silk or synthetic fabrics using steam anyway, select the
WOOL program.
Steam ironing wool or silk
Setting: WOOL
Eco setting ECO for cotton, jeans
or linen
– In the ECO setting, the appliance adjusts the average values of both the
steam pressure and iron temperature, ironing all durable fabrics, such as
cotton, denim and linen, in energy saving mode – meaning 40 % energy
savings.
CAUTION: Do not select ECO for synthetic materials, silk or wool!
