3- Opening the lid of the pressure cooker
* Turn the on-off lever clockwise to open the lid of the cooker.
Cooking Process
Put your food into the pressure cooker and add water or liquid up to maximum level. Check whether
there is any food residue in the pressure rim and in the main sealing surface. Clean, if any. Insert the
main seal into the lid under gasket holder hinges properly. Place the silicon seal into the lid carefully and
make sure it is fully inserted. ( some seals are one directional, i.e. ths surface which will contact the lid
and the pressure cooker surface of the seal, are different. If you put it as reversely, your pressure cooker
does not work normally and it leask steam. Use the seal as the manufacturer directs you in this case.)
Switch the pressure regulating valve to 1st and 2nd stage posirions in accordance with your exprience
and the type of food you cook. Place your pressure cooker on a stove that flame cannot overflow and
light a fire. Steam exit will be for a while from your cooker's pressure lock system. Then the lock system
will be shut down, it will take a few minutes to reach the desire cookin pressure. The sign of having
reached the correct pressure is the start of constant steam exit from staged pressure regulating valve.
Decrease the heat input by reducing the fire when pressured steam starts to exit from the pressure
regulating valve. Start the cooking time bu looking at your watch. Wait for 4-5 minutes by closing the
stove at the end of cooking time. ( Boiling continues for some time even the fire of the stove is closed in
thermal based stainless steel pressure cooker. Because the stored heat in aluminum thermal base will
continue to cool your food. If you switch the stage pressure regulating valve to "STEAM" position without
boiling in the cooker stopst, steam along with the part of your food which is liquid exirs with pressure.
This can lead to burns or contaminations in your kitchen. It is healthier to wait for stoppign the boiling and
discharging the steam.) Ensure the steam discharging completely by switching pressure regulating valve
to "STEAM" position at the end of this period. Presuure safety lock is available in your pressure cooker
and lid lock connot be opened without dicharging the pressure. However, do not attempt to open the lid
before steam is reset in terms of safety.
COMPLETION OF COOKING
Close the heat sourve at the end of the cooking period and allow the cooker to cool for a while ( About
4-5 minutes). Please switch cooking valve button slowly in the direction of steam discharge in otder to
discharge the complete pressure inside. After you take your cooker form the stove, if you have to open it
at once, please cool it under tap water for 2 minutes and switch the cooking valve button in the position
of steam discharge in order to discharge the remaining pressure (steam).
