the vehicle or ask a qualiied specialist).
Make sure the device is turned off.

Make sure that the ignition key is set to

"OFF/OFF". For keyless systems, make
sure that the ignition is turned off com-
pletely before connecting the mobile
power station.
Apply the parking brake or parking

brake of the vehicle. (On vehicles with
manual transmission, set the shift lever
to the neutral position.) On vehicles with
automatic transmission, set the lever to
the "P" position).
Plug the starter cable (A) into the corre-

sponding socket (8).
For vehicles with the negative pole to

ground, connect the red battery termi-
nal Plus to the positive pole of the vehi-
cle battery.
Now connect the black battery terminal

Minus only to a grounded point on the
vehicle (e.g. on the engine, chassis or
other grounded location on the vehicle).
Turn on the device with the ON/OFF

switch (2).
Press the start button (3). The device

checks the readiness for about ive
seconds. The display (6) shows "OK".
If the vehicle battery is so weak that the

pilot light does not illuminate, wait
about 15 minutes before attempting to
start the engine.
Now start the engine. The start attempt

must not take longer than 15 seconds.
Take a break of at least one minute after
each start attempt.
As soon as the engine starts, switch off

the device with the ON/OFF switch (2).
First remove the black battery terminal

nals, make sure that the cables do not
come into contact with rotating parts of
the motor.
Remove the starter cable from the

12. Jump Start – Special Procedure
with negatively earthed Battery
Older vehicles can still have the positive
pole at the mass.
When starting a vehicle with a negatively
earthed battery, follow the
steps 1 – 7 in chapter Jump Start - Stand-
ard Procedure.
8. First connect the black battery terminal
Minus to the negative pole.
9. Now connect the red battery terminal
Plus to the frame of the vehicle.
Then follow the steps 10 – 17, as described
in the chapter Jump Start – Standard
Procedure.

13. Operating the Compressor

The compressor of the device generates
during operation loud noises that can dam-
age the hearing. Wear ear protection while
operation.
Unwind the air hose (14) completely and

connect the air hose to the object you
want to inlate.
Use an adapter from the adapter set (B).

Open the lever (15), insert the valve plug

(16) onto the valve and push the lever
down.
Turn on the device with the ON/OFF

switch (2).To adjust (increase or
decrease) the air pressure, depress and
hold the buttons (9/10) for at least 5
seconds. To increase the air pressure,
press the plus button (10). To decrease
the air pressure, press the minus
button (9).
To turn on the compressor, press the

compressor button (11). The compres-
sor starts audibly and begins to pump.
To turn off the compressor, press the
6.
button (11) again.
Open the lever and remove the valve

plug from the inlated article.
If necessary, check the new air pressure

after inlation with a calibrated
manometer.
