• Adjust the two bevel adjustment bolts (B) until
the two ends of the square are in contact with the
blade and the table.
• Tighten the bevel lock handle (C) and the locking
nuts (A) once more.
• Make sure once again that the saw blade is
perpendicular to the saw table.
6. Make sure that the bevel angle indicator is aligned with
0°.

3. SETTING THE BEVEL AND STOP

You may set the bevel from 0 to 45° to the right and left.
1. To set the bevel, loosen the bevel adjustment handle (A)
Fig.11 located on the rear of the saw.
2. To tilt the head to the left, unlock the adjustment handle
(A) and tilt the head from 0 to 45° until the required bevel
is achieved with the handle. Once the setting is complete,
tighten the handle firmly once more.
3. To tilt the head to the right, unlock the adjustment handle
(A) and then pull the knob (B) to release the bevel angle
and tilt the head from 0 to 45° until the required bevel is
achieved with the handle (A). Once the setting is complete,
tighten the handle firmly once more.
N.B. : the bevel indicator must be aligned with the 45° mark on either side of the scale when the handle (A) is completely
loosened and the bevel is set fully to the right or left. If adjustment is required, proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the handle (A) and tilt the head fully to the left.
2. Release the blocking nut of the bevel stop (C).
3. Turn the Allen key screw (D) of the bevel stop until the bevel indicator is aligned with 45° on the scale.
4. Tighten the blocking nut of the bevel stop (C).
5. Set the blade back at 0°, then pull the bevel release knob (B) to tilt the blade to the other side. The bevel indicator must be
aligned with 45° on the bevel scale.
6. Put the saw blade back in the highest position and make sure that the knob (B) can be locked once again to secure the saw
blade.
IMPORTANT ! In order to reduce the risk of unexpected saw movement:
- Disconnect the power cord from the power socket.
- Lock down the saw head and lock the slide mechanism before transporting the mitre saw.
- Carry the mitre saw close to your body to keep your back safe from injury. Bend your knees while lifting the saw.
- Carry the saw with the carrying handle if there is one, or by its base. Do not carry the saw by the power cord or the
operating handle. If you carry the saw by the power cord, there is a risk of damaging the electrical insulation or
connections, and thus creating an electric shock or fire hazard.
- Place the saw in an unfrequented location, where people cannot move about or sit. Wood debris projected from the
saw may harm those around the machine.
- Clamp the saw to a firm and flat surface so that it cannot tip over.
