Have the tool repaired by a qualified technician. This electric tool has been manufactured in accordance with appro
priate safety requirements. Repairs may only be carried out by a qualified person using original spare parts.
Otherwise, they may be very hazardous for the user.

Keep these instructions for reference and give them to any new owner of the machine.
1.
Warning: Only use blades designed for cross cutting. While using carbide-tipped blades, make sure their cutting
angle is zero or negative. Do not use blades with deep gullets as they could bend and come in contact with the
blade guard.
2.
Warning: Do not use the saw before it is fully assembled and installed according to the instructions.
3.
If you are not fully familiar with the use of sliding mitre saws, obtain advice from the supervisor, instructor or
another competent person.
4.
Warning: Sawing by pulling the saw towards you can be hazardous, as the saw may jump up towards you. Always
push the saw forward away from your body and towards the guide fence when sawing with the help of the sliding
mechanism.
5.
While using the saw as a mitre saw and plunge cutting, make sure that the saw slide mechanism is locked to stop it
moving back towards the operator.
6.
While folding the feet in or out, take care not to pinch your fingers.
7.
Place the support on a flat and horizontal surface to stop the machine from rocking or tipping.
8.
Make sure the extensions are locked properly before starting the tool.
9.
Do not stand on the table or use the extensions as ladders or scaffolding.
10.
Do not exceed a weight of 20 kg per extension.
11.
Warning: Never place your hands inside the area designated as the hazardous area while the tool is operating.
12.
Always keep the workpiece properly applied against the guide fence and the table. Do not perform free-hand
operations.
13.
Important: If the workpiece is such that the hands need to be located less than 10 cm from the saw blade, the piece
must be clamped to the table before cutting.
14.
Make sure that the blade is properly sharpened and that it can turn freely with no vibrations.
15.
Let the motor reach full speed before starting to cut.
16.
Keep the motor air circulation openings clean and free of chips.
17.
Always make sure that the fastening levers are fastened before starting to cut.
18.
Make sure that the blade and flanges are clean and that the spindle screw is tight.
19.
Only use original flanges with the saw.
20.
Never use blades with a diameter that is larger or smaller than that recommended. Never use blades with a
thickness that is different from the original thickness or a different bore diameter.
21.
Never lubricate the blade when it is turning.
