1 I (iris)/ Z (zoom)/ F (focus) M/A (manual/auto)
switches
The iris (I), zoom (Z) and focus (F) switches are factory-set
to A so that you operate the lens on the RM-C950 remote
control unit (not supplied).
When you do not use the RM-C950, the lens adjusts the iris
automatically. Set Z and F to M and adjust manually.
When you adjust the iris, zoom and focus manually, remove
the cover and set the switches to M with a pointing object.
2 Lens hood
Focus
3 Focus ring
When you focus manually, set the F switch 1 to M and turn
this ring to focus in the subject.
Zoom
4 Zoom ring
When you zoom manually, set the Z switch 1 to M and
turn this ring to zoom in or out.
Iris
5 Iris ring
When you adjust iris manually, set the I switch 1 to M and
turn this ring to obtain a proper iris.
Macro
6 MACRO ring and knob
When you take a close-up picture, while pressing the knob
toward the video camera and turn the MACRO ring in the
direction of the arrow.

8 Lens mount
Flange focal length adjustment
9 Ff (flange focal length) adjustment ring
Turn the ring to adjust the flange focal length. For the
operation, see page 6.
!º Ff adjustment ring screw
To turn the Ff adjustment ring, turn the screw
counterclockwise to loosen. To tighten the Ff adjustment
ring, turn fully clockwise.
