Maintenance

No cleaning, upkeep or maintenance activities allowed when machine is running!
Therefore: Prior to any maintenance, switch the power generator off!
The ZI-STE900IV is a low-maintenance machine. Follow the general rules of operation and up-
keep of combustion engines. Disturbances in operation and defects have to be corrected immedi-
ately. Servicing and Repair only by trained persons!

Upkeep and Maintenance plan

Control for defect or loose parts
Clean the machine
Check (and clean if necessary) spark plug
Clean air filter
Clean exhaust

Cleaning

Clean spark plug

Take of the spark plug cover. Carefully loosen the spark plug (K) and remove it. Clean it with a
small brush, remove soot debris etc.
Check the spark contacts distance. It should have ~ 0.6mm (or approx. credit card thickness)

Do not use thinners, aggressive solvents or detergents for cleaning. This
damages the machine.
Clean only with a damp cloth
