Electrical connection
Only entrust an authorised expert to carry out the electrical connection in accordance with the German EVU and VDE.
VDE 0100 Part 702 is valid for all installations. Refer to the type plate for all capacity parameters. Powerregulation is only
possible with the OASE FM-Master 3. Only perform any work on the unit when isolated!

Installation

Install the flow regulating valve (A) including the supplied universal stepped hose connections at any position in the hose
(to avoid loss of friction In the hose, please use the largest diameter hose possible - 1" - 1 1/2") or directly at the water
outlet. Connect the unit to the outlet hose: Pull the blue union nut over the hose connection and screw it hand-tight on the
pump outlet, fit the outlet hose and swivel it in the desired direction using the integrated swivel head, then tighten the
union nut. Fit the unit including the filter housing in either the vertical or horizontal position in the pond on a firm ground
ensuring that it is completely covered by water, at a maximum of 4.0 m below the pond water level. To prevent flow loss,
route the shortest possible hose connection with a maximum internal diameter in an ascending manner with as little bends
as possible.
Attention! Never operate the unit without water flowing through!
Start-up
The unit switches on automatically when connected to power. Set the quantity regulating valve to the desired flow-through.
The power supply must be completely disconnected to switch off the unit.
Cleaning
Jet-Clean-System (B)
Clean the unit using the Jet-Clean-System if its performances reduces: Disconnect the power supply, screw the garden
hose on the Jet-Clean connection using the threaded adapter, connect to the tap or similar, let water run.
Cleaning the motor and pump housing (C).
Disconnect the power supply, remove the outlet hose, press on the housing closure and lift up the top half of the hinged
pump strainer casing. Remove pump and unscrew the pump housing, clean all individual components under running
water using a soft brush, check the sealing ring and replace, if necessary.
Attention! Never open the motor housing! For your own safety, contact a qualified electrician if you have any
doubts. If the rotor needs to be replaced of the motor is defective, please contact the manufacturer!
Storage/Over-wintering
Remove the unit at temperatures below zero degrees centigrade. Clean the unit thoroughly, check for damage and store
immersed in water in a frost-free environment. Do not immerse the plug!
Disposal
Dispose of the unit in accordance with the national legal regulations. .
