Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.
Never point the cone directly to people or animals at close distance (<1m); temporarily or
permanent ear damage may occur.

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

General Guidelines

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.

Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation
by unqualified people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use
of the device.

All modifications of the device are forbidden.

Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.

Overview and Use

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
A cone
Point towards audience for best performance.
B battery compartment lock
To keep the battery compartment shut.
C battery compartment
Holds the batteries, battery sleeves included.
D detachable speaker hook
To attach the speaker to the megaphone.
E 12VDC input
Connect the 12VDC from a car cigarette plug. Make sure the engine is not running to prolong the
lifetime of the megaphone.
F broadcast trigger
Pull to broadcast siren, speech or whistle sound (depending on setting of the siren/speak/whistle
button [H]). Release to end broadcast.
