5. Maintenance
•
All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
•
Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.

6. Battery
•
When broadcast power becomes insufficient, replace the batteries with 8 new ones.

Switch the siren to off [E] and turn the volume all the way down [I]. Do not engage the
broadcast trigger [F].
•
Open the battery cover by pulling the battery compartment lock [B] up and rotating the cover
around a hinge at the bottom of the speaker [D].
•
Take out the battery holders and remove the batteries.
•
Insert 8 new 1.5V C batteries (LR14C, not incl.) in the holders (4 per holder)
with the polarity markings printed on the holder. Only use batteries of the same type and
brand.
•
Place the battery holders back into the battery compartment [C] following the polarity
markings inside the compartment.
•
Close the battery compartment and push the battery compartment lock
secure.
