Use
e. Don the half mask (see chapter 3.2.1 on page 32).
f. Test for leaks (see chapter 3.2.2 on page 33).
X-plore 4740 with respiratory filter:

a. Screw in the respiratory filter.
b. Don the half mask (see chapter 3.2.1 on page 32).
c. Test for leaks (see chapter 3.2.2 on page 33).
X-plore 4740 with powered air purifying respirator or hose

breathing respirator:
a. Don the half mask (see chapter 3.2.1 on page 32).
b. Test for leaks (see chapter 3.2.2 on page 33).
c. Screw in the powered air purifying respirator or hose breathing
respirator.
X-plore 4790:

a. Press the cover near the handle areas from the cap.
b. Screw in the respiratory filter.
c. If necessary, insert the prefilter into the cover.
d. Attach the cover to the cap.
e. Don the half mask (see chapter 3.2.1 on page 32).
f. Test for leaks (see chapter 3.2.2 on page 33).
3.2.1 Don the half mask (see page 4)
Half mask with head harness:

a. Loosen the harness:
Pull the ends of the harness as far as possible towards the head
harness.
b. Only X-plore 4740 and X-plore 4790:
Close the locking hooks.
c. Place the harness around your neck.
d. Push the half mask up to the head harness (A1).
e. Fit the half mask over your mouth and nose (A2).
f. Place the head harness on the back of your head, guiding the
harness above your ears.
