4.2 Operating elements and connections

3 Button SEARCH with indicator
Switches the rotary wheel
forward/reverse. With the function activated, the red
control LED will light up. The function
automatically deactivated 15 seconds after the last
actuation of the wheel.
4 Button SGL/CTN
This button determines the operating mode:
• Basic setting: continuous play of all titles of the storage
medium
• First actuation: single title play (indication SINGLE);
after playing a title, the unit is set to pause at the start of
the next title
• Long actuation: Activates/deactivates the function Auto
Cue. When activated, AUTO CUE is indicated.
5 LCD
Indicates all functions of the unit and information of the
storage medium. The display icons will be explained in
section DISPLAY.
6 Button PITCH ON/OFF
Activates/deactivates the pitch slide control. When
activated, the LED lights and PITCH is indicated.

Pitch control

This slide control sets the playback speed. Slide it up to
decrease the pitch, slide it down to increase the pitch.
The adjustment of the control is effective only with the
button PITCH ON/OFF pressed. The pitch percentage is
indicated in the display.

8 USB port
USB port (type A) for connecting a USB storage medium.

SD card slot
Slot for inserting an SD(HC) card. The contacts of the
card must point downwards and the notched corner to the
right. Insert the card so far into the slot until it engages.
10 Button SOURCE SELECT
Switch for selecting a storage medium in pause mode.
The LEDs will verify which source is selected: The red
LED signifies SD slot 1, the green LED SD slot 2, and
both LEDs the USB port. Both players can read
simultaneously from the same source, playing the same
title on both players is possible.
11 Button TIME
• Switches the time
(ELAPSED) and remaining (REMAIN) title time.
• Keep this button pressed for 2 seconds to enter and exit
the system menu of the SDP-3. If no selection is
made with the control TRACK while in menu mode, you
exit the menu automatically.
12 Button %
Selects the speed adjusting range. Each actuation
switches the unit between 4%, 8%, and 16% and is
indicated by the corresponding control LED.
