Preparation

Installing the charger

1. Place the power cable such that nobody stumbles over it.
2. Keep the cables away from hot surfaces.

Charging the batteries

This device includes a modern Li-ion-battery featuring an especially high
capacity with low weight.
It does not have any "Memory effect" and has longer durability if handled
properly.
The device is not ready for battery operation at the time of delivery.
Charge the device for 2 hours before using it for the first time. Thereafter the
normal charging time is 1 hour. LED charge level indicator [5] lights up
constantly depending on the charging status during operation and charging.
