SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not dissamble, modify or any other way alter the device. Any of the
aforementioned actions shall be construed as an alteration as set forth herein.
• After unpacking, check the device for possible damage incurred during transport.
If you notice any damage, do not connect the device to the circuit, but contact your
dealer.
• Always keep packaging materials away from children.
• Do not pull the plug from the socket by the cord. Instead, grip the plug tightly when
removing it.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Before cleaning or servicing the device, make sure that the device is switched off
and that the plug is removed from the socket. Failure to unplug the device shall be
construed as neglect as set forth herein.
• Make sure that the back of the device does not touch the wall. Placing the device
against a shall be construed as neglect as set forth herein.
• Do not place the device in a location where there are fl ammable liquids, gas or
materials such as paper or curtains. Placing the device in any of the aforementioned
locations shall be construed as a misuse.
• Never block the ventilation openings of the device, either on the inside or on the
outside. Blocking the ventilation openings shall be construed as neglect as set forth
herein.
• Do not place any electrical devices, such as ice machines, in the cooler.
• If the device, power cord or the plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorized specialist company, or a similarly qualifi ed person.
Any repair efforts not performed by a qualifi ed service personnel shall be construed
as an alteration as set forth herein.
• Never oeprate this product if the it has been damaged, is not working properly, has
been dropped on a surface or into water while plugged in or if the power cord has
been damaged.
CAUTION
Risk of injury! Do not attempt to repair the device yourself, as this may
result in injury or serious malfunction. Repairs may only be carried out
by qualifi ed personnel.
This appliance contains the coolant isobutane (R600a),a natural gas which is
environmentally friendly. Although it is fl ammable, it does not damage the ozone layer
and does not increase the greenhouse effect. The use of this coolant has,however,led
to a slight increase in the noise level of the appliance. In addition to the noise of the
compressor,you might be able to hear the coolant fl owing around the system. This
is unavoidable,and does not have any adverse effect on the performance of the
appliance. Care must be taken during the transportation and setting up of the appliance
that no parts of the cooling system are damaged. Leaking coolant can damage the eyes.
