Circuit diagram

The boat's electrical system is 12 V. The
main switch is on the bulkhead/back-
rest in the stern. See also the schematic
on page 25. Batteries must be placed
in a securely mounted battery box. See
also the circuit diagram on the right.
The main switch operates only the navi-
gation lights and the electricity outlet.
Service (electrical system)
It is important to treat the battery with
care if all electrical equipment is to ope-
rate as expected. Check battery levels
regularly to make sure that it maintains
the correct level (C). Smoking is prohibi-
ted when servicing the battery as it emits
an explosive gas (W), when charging.
Use distilled water when topping up
the battery.
