Installation and connection

Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or severe injuries caused by electric shock from electrical units operated in
or near water.
Protective measures for accessible ponds:
 Only use electrical units or installations with a rated voltage of U
 Electrical installations with a rated voltage of U
at least 2 m from the water.
Protective measures for non-accessible ponds:
 Electrical installations with a rated voltage of U
least 2 m from the water.
Set-up the unit
 Do not suspend the pump from the suction socket or pressure socket.
– The pump housing may be damaged.
Submerged installation of the pump
 B
 Never operate the pump in a swimming pond.
 Only operate the pump with the filter basket fitted.
 Only operate the pump when it is below the water surface level.
 Ensure that the pump is in a secure and stable position.
 The position of the pump outlet can be changed. The pump casing has to be turned to achieve a different position.

How to proceed:

1. Place the pump with stand in a horizontal position on a suitable base and bolt down.
– Ensure that the pump is fully submerged in the water.
2. Screw the nozzle onto the pump outlet.
Install the unit at a dry place

 Swimming pond or pool that may be accessed by people.
– Install the unit at least 2 m away from the water.
 Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
 Ensure that the pump is in a secure and stable position.
 The position of the pump outlet can be changed. The pump casing has to be turned to achieve a different position.

How to proceed:

1. Remove the screws for fastening the filter basket and remove the filter basket.
2. Place the pump with stand in a horizontal position on a suitable base and bolt down.
3. Connect the suction line to the inlet.
4. Connect the pressure line to the outlet.
