RS-232C Data Transfer (VP-D60/D65 only)
Transferring Images to PC
You can use the RS-232C transfer function in both CAMERA mode
and PLAYER mode.
In CAMERAmode
You can not transfer an image during Edit search mode and
recording mode or in PHOTO and GHOST mode.
In PLAYER mode
You can transfer a still image in PLAYBACK or
STILL mode only.
1. Connect the camcorder to the PC with the RS-232C cable.
2. Turn on the camcorder (CAMERA or PLAYER)
3. Execute the Photoland RS software.
4. Playback a recorded tape and press the
button on the position of the image that you want to
transfer to PC.
In CAMERA mode, choose the scene that you want to
transfer to PC.
5. Press the CAPTURE icon on the control panel to start
transfer.
- The Picture will be paused and the TRANSFERRING
Display will appear.
- If you want to cancel the transfer, press the
button on the camcorder or press the ESC key on the
PC.
- If you want to transfer a high resolution image in
CAMERAmode, select the FRAME mode in the
PHOTO MODE (see page 47), and select the Frame in
the VIEW MODE (in Image menu on the menu bar) or
press the Frame icon on the tool bar.
- If you get a broken image, select the FIELD from the image menu on
the menu bar or press the FIELD icon on the tool bar.
6. Save the transferred images using the Save menu in File menu on
the menu bar.

- When the Photoland RS cannot find the proper COM
port, press the PORT (port detect) icon on control
panel.

wählen die Einstellung "Frame". Alternativ dazu können Sie auch auf
das Frame-Symbol in der Tool-Leiste klicken.
- Wenn das übertragene Bild nicht einwandfrei ist, wählen Sie für "View
Mode" die Einstellung "Field", oder klicken auf das Field-Symbol in der
Tool-Leiste.
6. Speichern Sie übertragene Bilder mit der Menüoption "Save" im Menü
"File" der Menüleiste.
Hinweis
Sie können die Übertragungsfunktion RS-232C sowohl im
als auch im PLAYER-Modus verwenden.
Im CAMERA-Modus können Sie in folgenden Situationen keine
Bilder übertragen: - während eines Suchlaufs mit EDIT +/-
- während einer Aufnahme
- wenn der digitale Effekt GHOST aktiviert ist
- bei aktivierter Fotofunktion (PHOTO).
Im PLAYER-Modus
können Sie
bzw. bei Anzeige eines Standbilds Daten übertragen.
1. Schließen Sie den Camcorder über das RS-232C-Kabel an
den PC an.
2.
Schalten Sie den Camcorder ein (CAMERA- oder PLAY-
ER-Modus).
3. Starten Sie die Software Photoland RS.
4.
Legen Sie eine Kassette mit Aufnahmen in den
Camcorder ein, und aktivieren Sie die Wiedergabe.

ERA-Modus
genau das Bild aus, das
tragen wollen.

Klicken Sie auf dem Bedienfeld die Schaltfläche CAP-
TURE an,
um die Übertragung zu starten.

Die Übertragungsanzeige (TRANSFERRING) erscheint.

Wenn Sie die Übertragung abbrechen wollen, drücken
Sie die Taste
(STOP) des Camcorders oder die ESC-
Taste am PC.
- Wenn Sie ein Bild mit hoher Auflösung im CAMERA-
Modus übertragen wollen, wählen Sie FRAME im Foto-
Modus (siehe Seite 47). Dann klicken Sie am PC auf
"View Mode" (im Menü "Image" der Menüleiste) und
- Wenn Sie über Photoland RS den geeigneten COM-Port
nicht finden können, klicken Sie auf das Port-Symbol auf
dem Bedienfeld.
