Ripmax 1/18th 4WD Electric Off Road vehicle.

1) Radio system does not operate

cauSE
A) Transmitter batteries are low
B) Batteries are installed incorrectly
C) Receiver battery is low
D) Throttle or steering dual rate has been
reduced too far
A) Receiver aerial is cut
B) Transmitter batteries are low
C) Receiver battery is low
B) Servo gear stripped or otherwise damaged
C) Receiver battery is low
A) Receiver battery connector is loose
B) Damage to receiver after a crash
cauSE
A) Steering trim out of adjustment
B) Toe angle out of adjustment
C) Damaged wheel bearings
A) Stripped or damaged spur gear
B) Receiver battery is low
C) Pinion gear spinning on motor shaft
D) Motor wires loose
A) One or more shocks sticking
B) Bent shock shaft
C) Bent or otherwise damaged hinge pin
A) Shock seals worn
B) Bent shock shaft
A) Motor wires loose or damaged
B) Receiver battery low
A) Gear mesh out of alignment
A) Throttle trim out of adjustment
A) Motor wires loose or damaged
B) ESC plugged into wrong receiver slot
A) Replace transmitter batteries
B) Check that the polarity of the batteries is correct
C) Recharge receiver battery
D) Increase the steering or throttle dual rate
A) Contact your local distributor for repair information
B) Replace transmitter batteries
C) Recharge receiver battery
A) Replace transmitter batteries
B) Replace with new gear set
C) Recharge receiver battery
A) Double-check receiver battery connector
B) Contact your local distributor for repair information
A) Re-adjust steering trim dial to centre both wheels
B) Re-adjust toe angle
C) Remove wheel and clean bearings. Replace if necessary
A) Replace spur gear
B) Recharge receiver battery
C) Tighten grub screw in pinion gear
D) Double-check motor wires
A) Clean and/or rebuild the affected shock
B) Rebuild affected shock
C) Replace hinge pin
A) Replace shock seals
B) Rebuild affected shock
A) Double-check motor wires
B) Recharge receiver battery
A) Re-adjust gear mesh
A) Adjust throttle trim dial so car doesn't move
A) Double-check motor wires
B) Plug ESC into receiver slot Ch.2
