INDICATIONS FOR USE

The Rebound
®
may be beneficial in the following situations:
• Post-op following Femoral Acetabular Impingement arthroscopic
surgery
• Post-op following Gluteus medius repair surgery
• Post-op following hamstring repair surgery
• Inoperable hip abnormalities
• Preventively when there is a risk of hip dislocation
• Conventional treatment after dislocation/reduction
• Spastic adductors
CAUTIONS
The Rebound Hip is a supportive brace only and is not guaranteed to
prevent hip dislocation or other injury. It should be applied by a licensed
or certified healthcare practitioner as prescribed by a physician or other
qualified medical authority.
• All wounds must always be covered to prevent direct contact with the
brace.
• Hip reconstructions should be stable prior to treatment with the
Rebound Hip brace.
• Patients are advised not to operate a vehicle during treatment.
Note: The Rebound Hip brace is not made with natural rubber latex.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Brace Positioning (Figure 2)
First, locate the patient's Greater Trochanter, align the center of the brace
at the hip, and have your patient hold the brace in place. This allows
them to feel the appropriate location for the hip pad.
Brace Length and Settings (Figure 3)
(Figure 3a) note: Applies only to units with abduction hinge. Next, using
the included Allen Wrench adjust the hinge from -10 to 20 degrees as
desired. (Brace ships at 0 degrees).
Hip brace is designed to limit flexion and extension and
