ADJUSTING THE RECLINING POSITION
Use the lever found on the front part of the seat between the seat and the base to obtain
the required position. Pull the lever upwards and keep holding it while you slide the seat
forwards or backwards, then release the lever when the backrest is in the required position
and press it until you hear it click into place.

2. INSTALLATION IN THE CAR

Important: The child safety seat must be used on the right-hand seat of the car.

FITTING THE SEAT BELT
3.1. For use with children weighing less than 13 kg in group 0+, place the car safety seat in the
rear facing position on the seat of the car and make sure you use the red clip
3.2 .For group 1 from 9-18 kg, place the car safety seat in the forward facing position on the
seat of the car, and make sure you use the red clip.
Warning: Do not wrap your child in a sleeping bag, blanket or other bulky covering before
putting him in the safety seat. The shoulder straps will not fit snugly and the child won't be
safe.
Warning: To ensure the child's back is evenly supported, do not put more than one nappy on
the child and make sure the nappy is not bunched up at the back.
3.3 Fastening in the rear facing position: open the base support and adjust the car seat to re-
cline as far as possible. Pull the seat belt out as far as possible sideways. Pass the abdominal
section of the belt between the seat and the base of the seat. Make sure that the abdominal
belt goes through the blue belt guide and pass the diagonal part of the belt through the belt
fastening device on both sides of the seat (see image) and pull the seat belt from the bac-
krest of the seat. Insert the seat belt into the buckle fitted in the car (see image) until it clicks
locked and pull it tight. Lastly, insert the car seat belt into the red clip and tighten it securely.
3.4 Fastening in the forward facing position: place the safety seat facing forwards on the
vehicle seat, now the seat can be turned forwards. Pull the seat belt out as far as possible
sideways. Pass the car seat belt between the seat and the base of the safety seat. Pass the
seat belt horizontally through the groove on the base of the safety seat, fasten the seat belt
(see image) and pass the diagonal part of the seat belt through both sides of the seat (see
image). Fasten the seat belt and pull to tighten it. Lastly, insert the car seat belt into the red
clip and tighten it securely.
Note: Check that the seat belts are not folded or twisted. On the road all the vehicle seat
belts should be securely fastened. After adjusting the angle of the seat, pull the seat belt to
tighten it again and fasten it securely with the red clip.

SAFETY HARNESS SYSTEM
4.1 Locking and unlocking the harness
1. Join the two parts of the harness buckle. Slide them into the central part, the buckle will
click into place when securely fastened.
Note: when placing the child in the safety seat, regularly check that the buckle is secure.
2. To unfasten the buckle, press the red button on it and pull the two side parts out of the
buckle.
