2. Wichtige Informationen zur
Inbetriebnahme
Technisch bedingt ist kein Schutz gegen
Kurzschlüsse vorhanden. Der maximale
Dauerstrom darf 5 Ampere nicht über-
steigen !
Es darf auf keinen Fall eine Verbin-
dung zwischen den Gleiseingängen
(6 linke Klemmen) und den Rückmel-
deausgängen (5 rechte Klemmen)
erfolgen !
Das Modul ist grundsätzlich wetter-
fest vergossen. Trotzdem kann es an
den offenen Klemmanschlüssen zu
Schäden durch Feuchtigkeit kommen.
Wir empfehlen deshalb, das Modul an
einer geschützten Stelle (z.B. in einem
Modellhaus) unterzubringen.
2.1. Anschluss
Der überwachte Gleisabschnitt muss
vorne und hinten einseitig isoliert
werden. (z.B. mit Massoth Isolierschie-
nenverbinder 8102510).
Es wird jeweils das linke und rechte
Gleis sowie der isolierte Abschnitt
an das Modul angeschlossen (siehe
Abbildung 1)
Das Gleis vor und hinter dem isolierten
Abschnitt sollte verbunden werden,
damit eine sichere Stromaufnahme
gewährleistet ist.
Die Kontaktausgänge werden mit dem
Rückmeldemodul DiMAX 280R
(Massoth 8170001) verbunden.
2. Important information
Due to technical reasons there is no
short circuit protection implemented.
(Therefore there is no Warranty pos-
sible for short circuits that occur). The
maximum continuous amperage must
not exceed 5 Amps!
Never make a connection between the
track inputs (the 6 left hand terminals)
and the feedback outputs (the 5 right
hand terminals)!
The module is sealed weatherproof.
Nevertheless the unprotected terminals
may oxidize due to moisture. Therefore
we highly recommend that the module
is placed in a protected environment
and not outdoors.
2.1. Hook-Up
The track section to be monitored must
be single-sided isolated on the front end
as well as on the rear end.
(e.g. with Massoth Insulated Track Con-
nectors 8102510).
Connect the left hand and right hand
track as well as the isolated track
section to the module according to the
illustration #1.
The track section before and aft of the
isolated section should be connected
together to ensure proper track power
supply.
