G Built-in direction-dependent headlights (cab con-
trol car, locomotive) and interior lighting in the
cars. Digital operation or operation with the 66045
controller: This lighting can be turned on and off
as a function. AC power operation: This lighting
will vary in brightness depending on the speed of
the train. Operation with 6604 controller: This
lighting is off all of the time. Operation with 6607
controller: This lighting is on all of the time.
G The pickup shoe at the front of the train (depending
on the direction of travel, it may be the pickup
shoe on the locomotive or the one on the cab
control car) supplies power to the motor and the
lighting. If this pickup shoe is in an area of track
with no power, then all of the lighting on the train
will automatically go off.
Only in digital operation with the
6021 Control Unit:
G The delay set for the acceleration and braking can
be minimized (switching speeds).
The maintenance work necessary with normal
operation of this locomotive is described below.

or spare parts.

system designed for it (Märklin 6646/6647
AC transformer, Märklin Delta or Märklin Digital).
G This locomotive must never be supplied with
power from more than one transformer.
