7. Troubleshooting

WARNING:
All the maintenance work listed below must be executed with the electricity switched
off, i.e. plug pulled out.
PROBLEM
Motor does not run
Motor runs, but wheel only
turns irregularly or jolts
Device vibrates excessively

CAUSE
No power to the device
Switch not turned on
Blower wheel blocked
Air inlet or outlet
Switch interrupted
Wire loose
A strong jolt bent the motor
suspension, so that the wheel is
jammed.
A strong jolt has caused the
motor to slip out of
suspension, so that the wheel is
jammed.
Accumulation of dirt on the
wheel
Blower wheel out-of-balance

U Connect device, check fuse, turn on switch
U Remove reason for blockage
U Switch off machine and let it cool; then remove
blockage
HS Request replacement switch from the dealer or
from HEYLO.
HS Check wiring and tighten if necessary.
HS Dismantle the motor from the housing, then
replace bent motor suspension or repair it.
Dismantle motor from the housing, then insert
HS motor correctly into the suspension.
