1. Safety instructions

Before initial start up: Do NOT start operating the ventilator if you detect transport
damages on the turbine blade, cover or housing.
Keep out of reach of children: Do not let children play with the device or in the vicinity
of the device.
Electrical connection: the HEYLO PowerVent 4200 EX is designed for operation with
115/230V and 50/60Hz. The device can only be operated in areas at risk from
explosions with the attached special plug. In normal areas, an adapter (Item No.
1450290) can be used. Sockets used must be earthed! Before connecting to the mains,
always ensure that the switch is on OFF.
Protect the power cable from damage: Never use the device with damaged power
cables. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a cable of the same
type with the same dimensions.
Extension cable: Only use permitted extension cables! The use of a wrong size of
cable can lead to fires or electric shocks and can damage the unit.
Handle with care: Do not let the device fall and do not throw it, since components or
the wiring could become damaged.
Work on a stable surface: Only start the ventilator if it is in a stable and upright
position. If the device is on an uneven surface and is running at full speed, it should not
shift itself. If the device moves, check the rubber base for damage and replace it if
necessary.
Secure during transport: Secure the device against slipping when transporting it in
vehicles.
During operation
Keep dry: Do not run the device in puddles or stagnant water. Do not keep or operate
it outdoors. If the electrical wiring or parts of the device get wet, dry the device
thoroughly before re-using.
Safety: Wear eye and ear protection during ventilator operation. Keep fingers and
hands away from the blade wheel. Never shift the ventilator while it is running.
Keep air vents free: Do not cover or block the air inlets or outlets.
Do not use speed regulators: Do not use turbo dryers with electronic speed
regulators to minimise the risk of fire or electric shock.
Repairing the device:
Stop the device immediately, if you hear loud mechanical noises or vibration.
Please only get repairs done by the HEYLO customer service.
