1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol or coloured green or green and yel-
low.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the let-
ter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the let-
ter L or coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
3 Applications
The B/W camera TVCCD-623(E) and the colour cam-
era TVCCD-623(E)COL are specially designed for use
in CCTV surveillance systems. In case of low illumina-
tion (night operation) the colour camera TVCCD-
623(E)COL is switched to B/W mode.
These high-resolution cameras are suitable for
infrared [the colour camera TVCCD-623(E)COL only
in B/W mode] and are equipped with extensive adju-
sting facilities, e. g. backlight compensation on/off,
automatic electronic shutter on/off, two alternatives for
AGC adjustment, etc. Models TVCCD-623E and
TVCCD-623ECOL are equipped with an Exview CCD
chip providing a particular high sensitivity to light (see
specifications).
For mounting the lens, the camera can be adjusted
to the C-mount or CS-mount mechanical focus setting.
It is possible to use either a lens with automatic lens
control [AI lens ("Auto Iris"), video signal controlled or
DC controlled] or a lens with manual iris control. A
4-pole connector plug for iris control of the camera is
supplied with the camera.
