Precaution:
• Do not make any modifications of kind on your
product.
• The appliance must not be exposed to atmospheric
conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
• The electrical mains to which the unit is connected
must conform to the existing norms.
• The electrical power source to which the product is to
be connected must be able to provide the maximum
amount of electrical power required by the product. If
it cannot do this, contact an electrician for appropriate
remedial action.
• The appliance must be earthed. If in doubt, have the
wiring checked by a qualified enginner.
• When installing the appliance, a multipolar switch
must be used. The switch interpole distance must be
no less than 3 mm.
• Do not cover or otherwise obstruct the unit's inlet and
outlet grilles.
• Effective appliance operation requires adequate
room-air replenishment. Moreover, if there is also a
water heater, gas stove, etc. drawing its air for
combustion from the same room, room-air
replenishment must be increased to allow all
appliances to work effectively.
The power-source data must be consistent with the
electrical dat shown on the nameplate (A).

• The unit must either discharge directly to the outdoors
or into a duct specifically designed for carrying
products of combustions produced by kitchen cooking
equipment.
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy
blow, have it checked immediately by a qualified
engineer.
• Turn off your appliance when your are not using it.
• If the 54-72 Maxifilter is not to be used, turn off the
switch, disconnet the unit from the power source and
store the unit in a place where it is out of reach of
children and inexperienced persons.
• Should the appliance fail to operate or not operate
correctly, turn the switch to off. Contact a Vortice
Service Center immediately and, if repairs are
required, make sure that original Vortice parts are
used.
• The butterfly valve must only be mounted on the
unit in those countries wherw it is expressly spe-
cified in the country's safety regulations. It is the
indìstaller's job and responsibility to see that
these regualions are observed.
