3 Applications
The PAL colour camera TVCCD-500COL has especially been
designed for monitoring and alarm systems. Due to its small
size an easy mounting is possible at any place.
4 Lenses
All lenses with a C mount or CS mount thread can be at-
tached.
1) While using lenses with a C mount thread, only screw off
the protection cap, not the black adapter ring.
2) While using lenses with CS mount thread, screw off the
black adapter ring.
As there is a connection for an iris control (8), especially
lenses with a video signal controlled iris are recommended,
e. g. MONACOR VWL-813A. The cable of the lens is
connected to the enclosed plug acc. to fig. 2:
pin 1 = operating voltage 12 V
pin 2 = ground
pin 3 = not connected
pin 4 = video signal 1 Vpp for the iris control
Due to the installed automatic gain control (AGC) also lenses
with a manual iris adjustment can be used.
Attention! The lenses of the lens assembly and the CCD
image sensor chip must be protected against dust and other
impurities and must not be touched with the fingers in any
case.
5 Mounting
The camera can be mounted with a camera mounting bracket
(e. g. MONACOR series TVH-...) at the wall or ceiling. For this
