3.1 Mikrofon-Vorrangschaltung
Mit Hilfe des Mikro-Kanals 1 kann über ein laufendes
Musikprogramm (im AUX/PHONO-Kanal 5) für An-
sagen etc. gesprochen werden, wobei eine automa-
tische Musikabsenkung bis zu 20 dB mit weicher Ein-
und Ausblendung vorgenommen wird.
Bei Linksstellung des FADER-Reglers (17) auf
der Geräterückseite ist diese Automatik außer Be-
trieb. Bei Rechtsanschlag dieses Reglers ist maxi-
male Absenkung der Musik eingestellt.
3.2 Batteriebetrieb
Die 24-V-Batterieanschlüsse (13) befinden sich auf
der Rückseite des Verstärkers. Wenn die 24-V-Span-
nung angeklemmt wird, ist der Verstärker sofort in
Betrieb. Die LED ON (10) leuchtet. Der Netzschalter
(9) ist ohne Funktion.
Wenn gleichzeitig 230-V-Wechselspannung und
24-V-Gleichspannung angeschlossen sind, dann
arbeitet der Verstärker auf Netzbetrieb und schaltet
bei Netzausfall automatisch auf Batteriebetrieb um.
3.3 Schutzschalter
Im Falle von Kurzschluß oder Überlastung öffnet der
Unterbrechungsschalter (11) automatisch, es leuch-
tet die LED PROTECT (8). Nach Beseitigung des
Fehlers kann dieser Schalter (11) wieder geschlos-
sen werden.

3 Operation

1) At first set the controls (1+ 6) to "0" position.
2) Connect the mains plug to the mains supply
(230 V~/50 Hz). After switching on the operating
LED ON (10) is lighting.
3) A switch (3) is provided in each of the MIC/LINE
channels 1–4:
OFF = channel OFF
LO CUT = subsonic filter ON
FLAT = linear
If a channel is switched on, the corresponding
LED (2) is lighting.
4) Set the input controls (1) as well as the tone con-
trols (5) to the desired values. Adjust the overall
volume with the MASTER control (6). The VU
meter (7) displays the output level.
3.1 Microphone priority circuit
With the microphone channel 1 an actual music
programme (in the AUX/PHONO channel 5) can be
talked over for announcements etc. while the music
is automatically attenuated down to 20 dB. There is a
soft fading in and out.
With counterclockwise position of the FADER
control (17) at the rear panel this function does not
work. With turning this control clockwise to the end
stop the max. music attenuation is adjusted.
3.2 Battery operation
The 24 V battery connections (13) are at the amplifier
rear panel. If the 24 V voltage is connected, the
amplifier is in operation immediately. The LED ON
(10) is lighting. The power switch (9) is out of func-
tion.
If 230 V alternating voltage and 24 V direct voltage
are connected at the same time, then the amplifier
operates with mains. In case of mains failure it auto-
matically switches over to battery operation.

3.3 Circuit breaker
In case of short circuit or overload the circuit breaker
(11) automatically opens the circuit, the LED PRO-
TECT (8) is lighting. After eliminating of the error this
switch (11) can be closed again.
