1. Loosen the housing screw (A) and separate the lamp part from the back pan-
el. Be careful not to scratch the surfaces.
2. Select a suitable position with abundant direct sunlight and mark the mounting
holes (B) in the back side to the mounting surface. The lamp must be moun-
ted vertically with the solar panel on top.
3. Select a suitable means of mounting the lamp (wall plugs and screws for con-
crete and masonry, wood screws for wooden walls or panels of self tapping
screws etc.) to the wall.
4. Mount the back panel in a suitable way in the desired spot.
5. Set the internal switch (C) in the lamp part to AUTO to turn the lamp on.
6. The internal batteries have been charged by the factory and the lamp is ready
to use. Test the lamp by covering the entire solar panel with a folded newspa-
per or similar to simulate darkness.
7. Attach the included numbers and letters to the transparent panel on the lamp
according to your house number. Use a ruler and a right angle to precisely
align the numbers.
8. Reattach the lamp part to the back panel and tighten the housing screw (A).
The lamp is weather resistant and maintenance free. Keep the solar panel
clean to ensure a long lighting duration.
Please keep in mind that passing light sources may turn the lamp off tempo-
rarily.
The LEDs have a service life of approximately 100.000 hours and do not re-
quire replacement.
If the lamp does not function satisfactorily even after several sunny days, the
internal batteries must be replaced as described in the next chapter. Use only
Ni-MH batteries of the same type (LR06, AA). Please ensure correct polarity.
