4. Operating conditions

To ensure correct operation of the Altea BL System, check
that the carrier product component complies with the
following conditions for use:
It must have a 63 or 70mm roller tube.
It must have a tube with a symmetrical tab.
In the lower locked position, your screen must be
rolled between a ¼ and 1/8 of a turn.
At the point where the screen is in contact with
the head rail, check that the surface in contact
is rounded (10mm in diameter) to optimise the
friction of the screen on the head rail of the box.
It must have a load bar with a minimum weight of
2.6 kg per linear metre.
The carrier product component must be equipped
with Altea BL Locks, or equivalent, fitted onto the
runners and the load bar by the manufacturer of
the carrier product component.
The head rail or lateral guides include high end
stops to ensure that the load bar does not enter the
head rail and that the hinges on the Altea BL Locks
are not damaged.
For information about the compatibility of the motor with
the exterior vertical blind and accessories, contact the
manufacturer of the exterior vertical blind or Somfy.
