Conditions for use/Operating hours

The device is not designed for continuous operation. 15 seconds of operati-
on must be followed by a 45 second off cycle.
Warning:
Never tape down the trigger permanently with adhesive tape or similar!
The device is not designed for permanent operation; failure to observe can
cause permanent damage to the electronics. Your warranty will not apply in
this case.

Maintenance and care

Regular use of the HotKnife 36 V will cause residual material to stick to the
blade and the blade holder. These residues can cause imprecise cutting and
impair electrical conductivity and the performance of the blade. Clean the
brush in warm state using the brass brush provided and no other cleaning tools
or agents.

Cleaning

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastic parts are
susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be
damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, etc.
Warning: Do not press the trigger while the blade is in contact with the brass
brush - this can lead to a short-circuit and failure of the device.
