yourself or other persons, or causing damage to objects. Please follow the
instructions in this guide to avoid damage to the tool.
The HotKnife 36 V is a professional, battery-operated hot cutting tool for foa-
med plastics such as ETIC blocks. The HotKnife 36 V heats up the blade in
just a few seconds and ensures optimum temperature control via the tempera-
ture control device to ensure convenient and efficient cutting.
The powerful Li-Ion rechargeable battery and rapid charger support ETICs cut-
ting work without mains power and without interruptions.

Recommended applications

Suitable for cutting facade, roof and cellar insulation blocks made of Polysty-
rene (EPS), Neopor, Peripor (Perimeter), Styrodur.
Before use, check the manufacturer's data sheet for the material you intend to
cut to avoid endangering your health.
Caution: When cutting material always ensure best possible ventilation. Avoid
vapours by using the correct cutting technique and blade temperature. Do not
inhale vapours when cutting.
