Schleiferumschaltung
Die Schleifer am vorderen und hinteren Triebkopf
werden beim ICE gleichzeitig benutzt.
Schleifer in Fahrtrichtung vorn: für Motor und Elektronik;
Schleifer in Fahrtrichtung hinten: für Beleuchtung.
Die Umschaltung erfolgt automatisch bei einem
Wechsel der Fahrtrichtung.
Hinweis: Die Zugbeleuchtung weiß / rot am Steuer-
wagen wird beim Wechseln der Fahrtrichtung erst
beim Anfahren in die neue Richtung umgeschaltet.
Im stromlosen Signalabschnitt schaltet die Beleuch-
tung ab.

Slider switching
The ICE uses both of the sliders on the front and
rear driving units at the same time.
Slider at the front of the train: for motor and electronics;
slider at the rear of the train: for lighting.
The sliders switch over automatically when the train
changes direction.
Note: the white / red train lighting on the control car
only switches over when the train starts moving in
the other direction. The headlights and interior lights
go out in a signal block without any power.
